Methotrexate - New at it......

Hi, Just a few questions to those of you who have had experience with

methotrexate. I had to stop sulfasalazine and my family doctor is

putting me on methotrexate. He's giving me 2.5 mg per week for three

weeks, then 5 mg per week for 2 weeks then 7.5 mg after that, just to

ease into it, in case of any adverse reactions.

I know 2.5 mg isn't much but my mouth feels kinda weird after taking it

yesterday. Has anybody else felt this? It's not weird enough to stop

taking it because I know I have to give it a chance.

I would appreciate any feedback on experiences with it.
