Guest guest
Reneé, No you aren't the only one taking meds. I am on Synthroid. I'm sure there are alot of us on here on meds but are hesitant to reply to the list. Have a nice day, Donna
Guest guest
Am I the only one on this list taking medicine? Are there any helpful supplements in America, that I can buy over the counter to add to my regiment to help? My diet is good, but could always improve. Thanks I did a hair analysis, and it showed low on minerals, so I will increase those also. Trying to find a place to do allergy testing with a blood draw. Happy Springtime!! Guest guest
Jenn, Hi, thanks, Unithyroid? Is that a new med? Does it have T3 and T4 in it? Just always trying to learn. Happy Springtime!! Love, Reneé and Jerry
Guest guest
Hi , I am on Levothroid until I can find a dr that will give me Armour. I had been on synthroid for a few years but recently switched.I wanted to try Unithroid but the pharmacy didn't have it. Best wishes to you Jenn A
Guest guest
Hi , No it's a synthetic T4,like Synthroid but made by a different pharmaceutical co. At this time Unithroid is the only FDA approved T4 on the market.I would much rather be taking Armour but I need to wait a little while to find another dr. Guest guest
Hi I take medication also, Levoxil. I've been having a pretty hard time lately with mine and even had to go off of it for 5 weeks to have some tests done. Last Friday I had to go for a biopsy, which was very painful. So you aren't alone. I tell all my friends that my couch is my best friend. After coming home from work and changing clothes that is where I usually head. I have no energy for anything else. Thanks People's reactions to the medications really vary. Some people lose hair on the meds and then the hair loss stops. Sometimes you have to try different meds and see what works. Sometimes you need adrenal support to stop shedding hair (that's what did it for me).Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
: Has anyone tweaked onto the fact that all "meds" cause side effects? No "meds" are safe, and none solve health problems. Guest guest
I would say its the medicine also - go have a check up with your dr. With me it was falling out before and after i started the meds - when i went back i found it was they had to re adjust my meds. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
Guest guest
hi, i am so sorry you are having this trouble, i lost a lot of my hair when i first got sick. I don't remember what i was on, but it was so demoralizing.I am on humira and i have hypothyroid problems, but my hair is all right now. i think the drs. don't always listen, they want to just get you in and out. i know that taking a bunch of meds at the same time can cause more problems than they cure. i know it caused my mom an ulcer the drs didn't know she had till it ruptured. i hope that you can get to feeling better and your hair grows back. fyi, i took neoral for several years, it helped both the p and a and it made my hair grow in really thick and kinda wavy. i had to get blood work done every few months, it eventually made me anemic and i switched to Enbrel. susan
Guest guest
I have never been on that or methotrexate. I am so confused because I have went off everything but Armour for my thyroid, am eating protein at every meal, and the hairloss is getting worse. I am so upset. I would love to just shave it off so it couldn't torment me but I have never even had short hair before. This is all so difficult for me. Just wish I knew why...Thanks for replying. Guest guest
Hi, . I, too, am experiencing massive hair loss since I've started this program. The more I increase my good fat intake, the greater the problem of hair loss, it seems. It is very disconcerting. I am hoping/wondering if this will reverse itself over time. I am interested to hear if there is something else we can do to help with this. > > Hello Bee- again > > Everything is better, except the male pattern baldness. > Hand full of hairs everywhere is killing me inside. > > With pcos i guess testosterone turns into androgens that causes > the male pattern hairloss. > > Is there something I'm missing or should be taking? > > Thank you >

There are many reasons for this, but I think the main reason is because of toxins coming out through the scalp. Just think of all the horrible things we have applied to our heads and you get an idea of what has to be detoxified, i.e. shampoo, hair dye, hair spray, gels, etc. My hair also came out in large clumps when I was curing my candida, but it eventually stopped and I got a full head of hair again. See these Success Stories about people whose hair loss stopped: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss1a.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss28a.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss29a.php There are probably others too - use your Edit Find on This Page function on your browser with the word hair to find others: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php Hang in there. This too shall pass as you continue giving your body what it needs to heal and detoxify itself. All the best, Bee

The reason increasing good fats makes you lose more hair is because the fats help your scalp detoxify better, and we've all used lots of things on our scalp that need to be detoxified, i.e. hair dye, bad shampoos, conditioners, hair spray, gels, etc. Some people have also put medicine on their scalp to treat dandruff or get rid of lice, fleas, etc. too. Guest guest
Have any guys reported their hairloss stopping or regrowing for that matter? Ever since I started to try and tackle this yeast beast my hair in the back of my head is falling out and I'm going bald. And I don't like it.
