millions of Merck Hib vaccine may be contaminated...lots affected were shipped

since April 2007

Merck claims Babies " would have been " sick already from it...within a week or?so

from time of injection. Bacterial contamination most likely to cause local

reactions...but as always the pharma company is hedging with a LOT of " maybe "

and " possibly " etc. HOWEVER? what if these bacteria are still in the systems of

these kids?? what of immune system status differences?? They really dont know

the full ramifications of having possibly injected bacteria into all these

babies!!!

Please pass along to ALL parents of infants and babies. Also be aware many

clinics and Drs may not be notified in time to stop this injection or may even

be unwilling to send the stuff back.

If your child had an unusual reaction ( or whose arm had an infection) call your

Dr and keep a note on your datebook/calendar until Merck?releases more info!!
