I could probably talk with you for hours about the group home experience. 's was um--there were good things and bad, and he was almost a victim there of attack by another resident, but it did have some positive parts. There really was no other choice for us...he was not okay. But I am finding other parents who had a similar experience, so even though I have no guilt about it, it relieves my guilt. Thanks for writing. Hugs, P.S. When I brought him home, I did make a promise to me and my husband that I would do everything humanly possible to keep him at home and not institutionalized. She is 33 years old, she lives in Russia and she doesn't know English. So I'm going write on her behalf sometimes. I'm wondering if anybody on that list speaks Russian?
