That's how they thought of it years ago anyway..It never helped me and ontop of it because of the Lyme I ended up creating allergy to it while I was taking it so now I can't take it at all for anything any longer.... Suz, for me it was the first antibiotic my LLMD went to, that and Doxy as a combined course. I 'think' , dont know but think it will readily get the bugs free in the bloodstream , but not cross into the brain or any deep tissue. Guest guest
I have read that Amox. will cause the ketek to turn into cysts form. Not a good thing if true. /Rodney <rod@...> wrote: > Just wondered if anyone had results using amoxicillin for Lyme? Does it > help at all? Guest guest
Hi, I have Lyme 26 years, misdiagnosed 22 years. I took Amoxicillin for many months. It didn't do much for me bcause I was in the late stage, but I think it might help someone who hasn't been sick for long. I have been on the salt & C protocol for 3 months and finally seeing many improvements. Regards, Rosemary. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Suzanne Crossley Sent: Monday, 2 May 2005 8:47 AM Subject: [ ] AMOXICILLIN Just wondered if anyone had results using amoxicillin for Lyme? Guest guest
Hi, I see several writing that they are taking the salt and c protocol. Do any of you suffer from high blood presure? If so doesn't it make it hard to controll your B. presure. If I increase my salt intake any , my B.P. jumps like crazy... I was on Amox. along with Dox. for a long time. it helped for a while but then I had to stop. I find that if my symptoms get very bad if I go back on it it makes the symptoms less. Guest guest
Hi, I have very low BP since contracting Lyme 26 years ago. However, several people in the Lymestrategies group have high BP and they have found that although their BP may increase a little initially on the salt & C, it actually comes down and stabilizes after a short while. One lady had her BP increase but her pulse rate came down, which the doctor said is more important. Table salt might increase your BP and caused me other problems as it has additives. The pure sodium chloride should not be a problem to most people. I believe that our ancestors ate approx. 20 grams of salt per day as this was a common preservative. Some people doing salt & C have blood pressure monitors at home. I have an article called " The Truth About Salt. " I can post it to the group if people are interested. Wishing you all health, Rosemary. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Carolyn Ruth Sent: Wednesday, 4 May 2005 12:23 AM Subject: [ ] Re: AMOXICILLIN Hi, I see several writing that they are taking the salt and c protocol. Guest guest
Hello - We are new here... My son age 7 was diagnosed a couple days ago. He has been put on a 30 day 2 tsp twice a day treatment of Amoxicillin. Is Amoxicillin a common antibiotic to use? Thank you
Guest guest
definitely. Often used in combination with other drugs, but the doc may be starting out slowly not to provoke an excessive reaction.
