Hey everyone. I need an opinion here. As I have said before, I take

Metho. and Humira for my PA. I feel better, but I am so dang tired

and achy at the end of the day after work that I can barely find the

enery to do anything at home.

I went to my rheumy Tuesday. She is concerned that I am not

responding quite as well as I should be because I still have swollen

joints in my hands and feet. I told her how tired I was and achy and

she said that she didn't think it was from the pa. She said it's

probably from the metho, but in her next breath, upped my dose to

25mg. I get the feeling she is not exactly understanding my personal

feelings and just looking at clinical. Is this something I should get

a second opinion about? I think Humira and metho are about all I can

do so I'm not sure if it's worth seeing someone else.

I was wondering what everyone else thought. I've only be diagnosed

for about 8 months and am a bit confused about what to do.

Thanks.

(Editor's Note: Are you taking folic acid? That helps to ease some of the

fatigue for some of us. It sounds as if this medicine combo is not working for

you. There are other meds, including Enbrel, that you can try instead of

continuing to push something that isn't helping. One of the most important

things you should do when combating a disease, is to get a doctor you're

comfortable with. If that's not the case here' by all means look elsewhere.
