*Yes, I'm behind*

Where north of Memphis? I'm only 2 1/2 hours from there myself in a

little town known as Piggott. My dad lives in Oakland, Tennessee

(about 55 miles out of Memphis).

P.S. I won first place in the 50's dress contest at the

SuperCruise Have a spiffy new jacket to show for it - but it's a

varsity style with a quilted lining - just what a person needs in

Arkansas in mid-May headed into June! It was an awesome weekend

though - 324 hot rods in town...including a VW Beetle that was

customized to look like a pig *I'm serious...it had ears welded onto

the roof and a snout coming out of the hood.* Needless to say, those

fine folks won the " Pig Display " prize. I have a photo of it

somewhere...

P.P.S. And our Relay had its biggest year ever with over $78,600

raised for the cancer society. Now, I'm just looking forward to a bit

of rest before the lovely picnic season gets into swing and work

kicks back into high gear at the paper.

Memphisa and in Augusta Ga. I'm in the Hudson Valley region of NY
