Guest guest
My 10 year old went to the ER early Sunday morning because of terrible pain in her belly. They took a ex-ray and said she was extremly constipated - they gave her an enema - she went a little as the nurse put it but it did relieve her pain - so the doctor put her on mirolax the perscription strenth - she has taken this everyday and still nothing has happened - she is to tired, headache etc because of the stool overload - anyone have any ideas what I can do for this poor child as I really though she would have a movement by now!! She is drinking tons - the ER doc said do not give her any laxative or stool softiners - my guess is that is she dosent have a movement by later today I will have to take her back as she really cant miss any more school - she in on week four!! thanks - Diane (WI)
