Guest guest
I have been cold free for almost three years and now all of a sudden I have congestion and a sore and scratchy throat that hurts when I swallow. I was supposed to take my Humira today, but due to the onset of the cold last night, I decided to wait until next week. Is this a good idea? I know a cold is not an infection, but a virus, but does it pose the same risk as an infection? I am off to the pharmacy for some Zicam. Randi randi68az@... Guest guest
Randi: I think you were wise not to take your Humira but you need to call your doctor for his/her advice. Virus or bacteria - as far as I know they're both " infections " and, of course, a virus can sometimes be even more serious than a bacteria since it doesn't respond to antibiotics.
