For information on Xanthan Gum and why it shouldn't be consumed in any products see " Thickening Agents " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe166.php ==>There are so many ways to get a more natural milk, and to obtain good fats. Hemp contains 55% omega-6, the fatty acid we all get too much of. The best natural milk substitute is Egg Milk: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/menu3_1.php > > Here is a recipe for making hemp milk with only hemp seeds & water. > http://www.manitobaharvest.com/recipes/recipe.asp?id=52 ==>If the hemp seeds aren't soaked in sea salt water for 7 hours prior to grinding they will contain phytates that block mineral absorption and enzymes that interfere with protein digestion. The only hemp products I would consider buying are clothes or rope. Bee
Guest guest
Here is a new one. Has anyone out there heard of hemp milk? Rice Dream makes it. Usually in the non dairy section. I found it at top Food and Drug in wash. So instead of drinking soy milk or rice milk, there is hemp drink. It is suppose to be a very strong anti-inflammatory. Sounds interesting. Thinking of trying it. Can't hurt, maybe on cereal? And the cherry juice in strong concentrations is recommended for gout and related problems, people swear by it. casey <denise05775@...>
