Work and PA

Hello Arla and Betz and others writing about the topic of work,

I really relate to this. I was working one day per week at a public library and

2 half days at school as a Teacher's assistant to a special needs 14 yr old

girl. I felt very unwell all term 2 so last term I gave up the library NOT

because I wanted to but I just coudn't keep working both jobs and after

establishing my relationship with the girl I teach at school I knew I couldn't

leave that job. I do feel my self esteem affected at times because I feel I

should be able to work more hours than I do and I would like to work more. Two

new grandchildren due soon means there will be 16 relationships in our immediate

family and I put a high priority on these.

I really enjoyed my work as a Librarian but relating to borrowers was constant

and tiring even though I saw it as a priveledge to relate to many people from

different backgrounds.

I am feeling the effects of brain fog more and more also which doesn't help. I

would love to hear how PA has affected others in relation to their jobs,

confidence etc. I am still getting frequent severe headaches and don't know if

it's the sulfazaline causing them.

Looking forward to reading what others write.

Annette
