Guest guest
I'm happy to report that I have successfully done my second injection, all on my own! I'm having the 50 mg and I am totally amazed that the needles don't hurt at all as they go in, thats what was making me feel I couldnt do it myself. This time no stinging at all, and I injected really slowly. No soreness at all after this injection like the first time. BUT, I did feel rather odd after for some time, slightly headachy but more a sick headachy sort of feeling? Can't describe it, I wasn't really sick, but I felt strange. Anyone else have this? Does it go away with time? Anyway the tendony pain around joints has improved a lot, SIJ joint still not perfect but a lot better, I can drive comfortably now and get out of low chairs easier with so much less stiffness, and not so fatigued. Not bad for 2 injections and after feeling so bad for the last few months after I stopped Arava. Glad to hear about the person who just wrote about being on Enbrel for 15 years!!!!! Did you stay on the same dose all along? When is peak effect, after about 3 months? But sorry to hear about the problem with live vaccines and the shingles vaccine. Shouldn't the doctor have reminded you, I don't think you should feel it was your fault, its easy to forget things. regards max
