I was bit in Beaver Dam - Dodge county.........two times...........way back in

1984 & 1987

yeah - near death and was thrown in the hospital and they called it a bad case

of MONO - how many of us have that story.........

My friend is from that area and they visit back home alot - her son just got a

bulleye....and thankfully they put him on meds right away :)  I pray one

success

story - it's so cute because when we see him he says to us.......I am just like

you - I have lyme - and he is so proud - coming from a four year

old........precess

Diane:

Where in Wisconsin are you? Where did your family get Lyme? Who do you see for

Lyme care? My mother is in LaCrosse and has a friend with possible Lyme and is

looking for a doctor.

I was diagnosed in July with Lyme which went undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for

almost 30 years. I grew up on a farm outside of LaCrosse, WI. It was nestled by

Lake Neshonoc and I think ripe for ticks. Wish I had known then what I know

now!! I wonder how many of us would say that.

I live in Ohio now. We were almost in your state yesterday as we traveled 5

hours to Elgin, Illinois to see our ILADS doctor. It was great to hear him talk

about the new things he learned at the ILADS conference last week. My oldest

just started with him yesterday. I was pleased with our appointment and the plan

for getting the 3 of us well.
