Guest guest
Day, What part of the country are you in? You can find registered, Licensd naturopathic doctors on the computer for your area. Most ND's know about candida and will work with you. Also, look at breakingtheviciouscycle.com and check out the diet. It has helped me immensly. I will write again. Hello Group! I have had Candida symptoms since the summer of 2000, which recently worsened (November of 2002). I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, with lesions on my brain. It's hard to find someone who believes I have Candida, except my parents & siblings, because they are suffering from it too. I was engaged to be married, but recieved no support from my fiance, so we have parted and gone our separate ways. He thought the whole Candida thing was a big joke. I am a firm believer in alternative medicine, and feel that God knew what He was doing when it came to natural healing methods. I am interested in learning about what others have discovered for treating Candida by using safe, natural herbal and other remedies. Has anyone used Candex? I got a 30 count bottle to try and my left hand, which had been stiff and shook uncontrollably, is no longer stiff. I have noted other imrovements, but won't go into them at this time. Also, finding a dr. who knows about Candida is hard. What is the success rate for others? I will try to check back tomorrow. ~Day
Guest guest
I live in eastern Nebraska. I have seen a holistic nutritionist wo works with MS, but has heard of Candida. He wants to treat MS first, in his opinion it's more important, and deal with Candida later. So far the supplements I'm taking haven't worked the way he was hoping. I have the phone # for a few other naturopathic drs. in my area. If the nutritionist will not work with me on Candida, I may have to look elsewhere. By the way, more about me. I am a 24-year-old female. I have a few ideas about how my Candida got started: Stress, excessive sugar, poor nutrtion and environmental pollutants. Now I need to kill it so I can return to the life I once lead (minus Candida, and with nutrition as my friend). ~Day > Day, What part of the country are you in? Guest guest
Why can't you deal with the Candida at the same time??? Modifications in your diet, like the Candida Control Diet, may make a big difference, adding fresh garlic, olive oil, coconut oil, and pro- biotics, while cutting way down on carbs, and eliminating sugar.... No prescriptions, just these changes have done wonders for me... I have struggled with yeast problems most of my life, but it got really serious a couple years ago after a minor surgery and IV antibiotics... Anyway, 3 weeks after I changed my diet, I began to feel better... Just a thought!
Guest guest
My name is and I am a 37 year old male living in the Atlanta GA area. I have been following posts on here for years and thought I would finally say hello and introduce myself. I have had psoriasis since age 16 and PA since 21. My symptoms manifested very quickly to what felt like every joint in my body when I was diagnosed and I was using a walker at 22! I am sure some can relate to taking 20 min to walk 20 feet. I have tried every possible cocktail and treatment plan from MTX to Cyclosporine and beyond. In 2001 I started on Enbrel and have been very successful with that treatment. I have little to no stiffness anywhere and occasionally have a flare up in my knee or lower back, but I can certainly manage that compared to the debilitating pain of my 20s. At first, the Enbrel cleared up all of my Psoriasis, but within the last year or so, it has begun to creep back on my sides and back. My dermatologist prescribed Taclonex and it takes care of the scales, but the patches remain. Now that has stopped working. It is certainly very painful right now and flaring up quite a bit. Any suggestions on help to tame the P lion? My PA seems to remain under control. The P makes me quite depressed as it is difficult to be intimate and have a relationship with such a looming physical issue. Thanks for letting me vent. Hope everyone is having a good day out there.
