I am curious, because I am researching (in the sense of reading all the

available literature I can find on the subject) how many of you have children

who were diagnosed with some sort of autistic spectrum condition and then it

turned out it was Lyme? Questions:

1. Was your child diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder,

Autism, Asperger's ... If so, which one(s)?

2. How was your child diagnosed with Lyme?

3. Did the autism spectrum symptoms subside with treatment?

4. How long was treatment before symptoms subsided?

I have a child who was diagnosed bipolar, ADHD, and auditory processing disorder

over the years. She turned out to have Lyme and coinfections and after 1 year

of treatment she is almost completely off her Ritalin patches. I have a theory

that the rise in autism in our country may correlate to the rise in

(undiagnosed) Lyme...
