Hello,

You definitely should call and check with Enbrel Services if it is ok during

pregnancy. When I asked my Rheum. about the side effects of Enbrel, right

before starting it, he said that as long as I wasn't planning on getting

pregnant , I had nothing to worry about.

That gave me the impression that Enbrel was NOT safe during pregnancy, but I

could be wrong.

Always best to check directly with the manufacturer when it comes to safety

during pregnancy.

Blessings,

Lorraine

-- [ ] HELP!!!!!Too much pain!!!!!

I'm 3 months pregnant, and out of the blue my PA that has been on remission

for 2 years (since my last

pregnancy) came back very strong, but only on my right foot. I simply can't

step on the floor, not even to walk from bed to the bathroom!!!! I literally

have to crawl around. Did anyone here ever got to this point?

And what should I take, since Enbrel is not an option in pregnancy?

Thanks,

Hello!

My dr is switching me from Humira to Enbrel due to a possible allergic reaction

to the Humira. I am currently waiting for the rash to go away before starting

Enbrel. As a result, I am struggling through a flare and find myself with a lot

more time on my hands (pun not intended) since my joints are hurting too much to

do much of anything at the moment. One of the concerns I have now is that with

the Humira, my dr had told me to schedule my injections so that I took one right

after my menstrual cycle...and one around the time of ovulation...and then I

would know if I was pregnant or not before the next one was due. And, if I

turned up pregnant, I was supposed to not take any more.

The Enbrel is weekly, however. I can't follow this same cycle. Have anybody on

here gotten pregnant while on Enbrel... and how did it work as far as timing of

injections while trying to conceive? We are trying... but our success rate(or

lack there of) in the past makes me not worry too much about it. But we do want

children...so I want to be sure not to hurt the possible future fetus. I have

lost 100lbs since we last tried... so I know it is now more likely, and just

want to plan ahead. I will check with my doctor at my next visit.. but was

hoping someone here had an answer sooner for me! Thanks everyone and hope you

all have a great holiday!

Becca
