Congratulations on saving him by getting him the treatment he needed!

You've both been through a lot, and now you BOTH need to recuperate. Be

kind and gentle to yourself so you can stay well enough to nurture your son.

It takes me a couple of months minimum to get back to normal and to

emotionally process what's just happened when we've had " crisis episodes. "

It is easier to appreciate your children after they've been through

something like that.

All my prayers for good health,

, (7) and 's (3) Mommy : Hypogammaglobulinemia

was so nice to know that you were rooting for me, knowing that our

walk like Fred Sanford. I always thought that if the PA got bad, I'd

limp. Not that it matters whether it's a limp or a waddle but I'm

Excellent news Gail! Its also great news that the doc feels she will benefit from the VEPTR 2 replacement. That means her spine is still growing and has not prematurely fused. There does not appear to be any fusion. I will ask about that in a month when we go for the post-op. In November he wants to do a 3d CT scan of her spine concentrating on her neck. Nothing has been done for it, and it does appear there is some kyphosis.
