Guest guest Posted March 26, 2007 Report Share Posted March 26, 2007 Hi there, My son has Lyme and has been treated for it up in Connecticut for a couple of years. A friend of mine just called and is very worried because her daughter started complaining yesterday and today of head and neck pain. Then this afternoon her husband found a tick on their daughter's neck and I'm guessing it was embedded because she said her husband wasn't able to get it off. He is taking her to the ER to have them take the tick out and she called me for advice. One of the questions she had was whether I knew of a local doctor that might treat kids properly for Lyme. The only name I've heard of locally is Dr. Mark Garzon in Washington DC that I think has had conversations with Dr. and may be a better option than any other that I know of in this area.
