Guest guest
My 10 year old daughter has been diagnosed with Lyme and I am looking information on treatment options. It doesn't seem that this group is very active. Can anyone give me some guidance on what they have tried nd what had worked. She had the bulls-eye rash on her arm and took amixicillin in high doses for 4 weeks. I am of hte belief she may have had it for a long time, but not sure. She tested negative for the western blot, her CD57 is below 10 and ther vit D levels are reversed. I am looking into testing for coinfections, rife machines, alternative antibiotic herbs and other treatments. Part of the problem is how to treat a child vs. an adult. I too have lyme and am willing to try lots of things that I wouldn't just want to " try " on a 10 year old. She is scheduled for a MRI without contrast next week and so is my younger daughter as we think she may too have Lyme, although her CD 57 is high and Vit D levels are fine. We are awaiting her western blot test, but expect it to be negative. Thanks for any input. KK
