Guest guest
Liz, I'm amazed you've missed all of my whining about the heat and humidity in GA and it's effects on me. It was a major contributing factor to my moving from the state where my ancestors settled in the 1700's to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. That was my cure for the heat and humidity cause nothing else has worked! in MI

Some teas are diuretic, i.e. dandelion, stingling nettle, etc. Here's a great recipe: Diuretic Tea Ingredients 1 quart boiling water 2 teaspoons dandelion root ½ teaspoon nettle leaf ½ teaspoon oat straw ½ teaspoon fennel seed ½ teaspoon corn silk Directions - Pour boiling water over herbs, then steep in a covered container for 20 minutes. Strain herbs. Drink 1 or 2 cups as needed. ==>But do not drink too much without having enough ocean sea salt. Bee
Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just wondering how the humidity affects everyone? And the sun. I've been good about staying out of the sun but had to wait outside for a bus last week and now have this weird, blotchy reddish/pinkish rash on the tops of my hands and feet. Am also experiencing extreme fatigue, more than usual hand/forearm swelling and shin pain. I " m on sulfasalazine and am thinking it's time to change it. Other than that..hope everyone's enjoying their summer. Thanks.
Guest guest
HI. THE SUN BOTHERS ME A LOT. I HAVE TO USE A HIGH SPF AND THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK. HUMIDITY IS EVEN WORSE FOR ME. I SEEM TO HURT MORE AND FLARE QUICKER AND THEN THERE'S MY ASTHMA - THE HUMIDITY MAKES IT HARD TO BREATHE . THANK GOD FOR AIR CONDITIONING. WELL THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. TAKE CARE MARYLOU
