Guest guest
Ok, I can't stand it anymore. Even in Digest form there are so many emails that go on an on about the same topic... without taking a step forward... I would just like to ask this of us all, if for some reason anyone has an issue with another's opinion or what they have stated, and what they want to say to that person is purely directed to the individual & not the entire list as a community, PLEASE direct it to them personally. Not only is it time consuming and ridiculous to pull us all into it, it is a little bit kinder to that individual. Furthermore, though, there is no need to attack anyone on here, as how I interpreted some of the recent emails. Thanks, and please if you don't agree and want to tell me something in response, do so privately. Now on a lighter note... Regarding the term " midget " , and whether or not the term should be erased form all types of leagues, teams, or any label in group of people or things in society... what about those small pickles in the grocery store??? ( " Sweet Midgets " I think they're called) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Thanks for your time!
Guest guest
: I have moved on, but to let you know that one can still get a lot of emails just from a lot of people writing a particular day about a certain topic. Since I would imagine there is quite a number of people subscribed to this listserv. :-) Helen
Guest guest
Hello, I really do not think anyone was being attacked. If that was the case. You probably should of sent your E-mail to the people who were doing the attacking. Instead of sending it to all of the members. Also why do we have a list surve if we can not voice our opinion. Guest guest
I am new to this site and would like to ask a question or two. Is there a test to find out if you have any parasites in you intestinal tract? If so what is the name of the test and where can one go for these tests? Is there a test for your vitamin and minerals in your system? Again, what is the name of the test and where can I go to have this done? Thank you and Happy Holidays to all. Guest guest
Tests for parsasites are pretty standard tests of stool along with tests for blood or pathogens. To the best of my knowledge you have to have a doctor approve them. They are not a barrel of fun to have. Usually, they are given to you if the doctor thinks there is something in there or if you have some condition for way longer than you should have. For instance, I just had diarrhea for 5 weeks after switching from being a vegetarian to the Type O diet. So they ran the full batch of stool tests and there was nothing unwelcome in there. When I switched to eating vegetables fish and a little meat, instead of vegetables, meat and a little fish, the problem went away. I must be some kind of fisherwoman Type O. Guest guest
Hi Melodie, I will reply to your questions based upon my experience. Is there a test to find out if you have any parasites in you intestinal tract? Conventional alopathic stool tests are normally inconclusive, they only indicate if you are eliminating when they are tasken! Muscle testing will tell you if you have any parasites in you intestinal tract. The body does not lie! Don't be surprised if it does confirm parasites! They are very common. A good naturopath should be able to test you. If none is available, a good NAET practitioner should be able to tell you and treat you for them. See www.naet.com If so what is the name of the test and where can one go for these tests? Check the practitioner locator on the website. Is there a test for your vitamin and minerals in your system? Doctors Data in Chicago do 24hr. urinalysis tests. Again, what is the name of the test and where can I go to have this done? If you cannot find a practitioner with one of their kits they will send you one. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all. Guest guest
I didn't know you can buy citric acid at a winemaking store! My family wants seconds - I made fizzies for gifts. I paid way too much for the bottles of citric acid I got at a health food store after searching many cities around here. Winemaking store - who would have known! I am excited - thanks for the lead! Guest guest
I would not automatically agree with Claudine, or wait until the biopsy, although I agree with the basic idea behind it. The reasons I do not fully agree are that, as of right now, the peg treatment has not received full approval, and there is a chance, however small, it may not get approved. Additionally, it appears that the peg treatment may only be used for those that have failed previous treatments, but that is still not known. Also, if it does, your insurance company may not agree that it is an accepted treatment. Also, it has a failure rate the same as all other therapies. There are pros and cons about taking or not taking treatment, no matter what your genotype is. While the 1a and 1bs are the least responsive to the combo, if you are one of the ones that does respond, then who cares what the statistics say. If you do not, you may have bought yourself time by trying the other therapy, or you could get quasi-species that might increase your viral count. The only positive aspect of that, is that you then qualify for high induction interferon, similar to the idea behind the peg. Also, if you wait, the virus may do nothing, or, if it is destructive, it may be increasing in it's liver destruction while you wait. If you take the combo, it may hold everything in check, or, place you into remission, or whatever. The treatment is not pleasant, but, the long term consequences of liver disease are worse. Just like some have not been able to tolerate the combo therapy due to their blood tests, you may not also be able to tolerate the peg, if you qualify. These are all tough decisions, and none of us can predict the future. Claudine has been an excellent source of information for this list, and we have all seen and felt different opinions. I have one patient that took the interferon only many years back. He had every risk factor possible to get the disease including IV drugs, snorting of coke, blood transfusions, heavy drinking, etc. But, his viral loads are still undectable, and his liver functions are normal. So, go figure. Medically, there are no absolute rights or wrong until you try and find out for yourself. Find out as much as you can, and then you have to take your best guess. My wife finishes her combo in 1 week. She has had an undetectable viral load since week 1. It has been rough on both of us, her as the patient of the disease and treatment, and me as her spouse that has tried to comfort, support, and keep my own worries to myself, as well as handle the lack of being able to make any plans for the last year because I do not know how she'll feel, mood swings, etc. But, if it works, all of it will have been worth this year of hell. If not, at least we tried and we'll take the next step as it comes. Good luck in whatever you decide and keep us informed. Marty

Guest guest
Add Arkansas to your list of states with Medicaid waiver (medicaid paid " personal care service. " ) In past months I'd mentioned medicaid pays for all my son's diapers (since he was 3 years old--delivered right to my doorstep once a month!). He also gets quite a bit of therapy, and friends from other states have told me that Arkansas has its faults, but it certainly is good to children with disabilities. I'd find out what other states offered similar services and go there first, though. AR DOES have lots of ignorance and poverty and high teenage pregnancies and, and, and.... F. Guest guest
Re the magnetic pulser-- I know you have to go slow to start with or it can really make you sick. Of course, you will feel lots better in a few days, but for now drink lots and lots of water. If the foot pain returns for your husband, he may need to treat the knees and lower part of the legs for longer relief. That works for me. What type of zapper did you get such good results with? Or are you talking about the pulser? And congratulations on your good results. pj egroups wrote: > > > There are 5 messages in this issue. > > Topics in this digest: > > 1. Guest guest
Seems to be going around. I know it's awful hard sometimes to take that shot, isn't it. I went home early Friday and again on Monday, but I've been hanging in since then. I took a vacation day on 10/22 and my wife and I are going to a little bed and breakfast up on the peninsula. 10/21 will be our first wedding anniversary, and a tough year it's been. I'm looking forward to it, though. I understand the orionic meteor showers will be going on then and we should get a good view if it's not too cloudy. -dz- --- VicLea227@... wrote: > Hi All, > > Hi Jan, I'm back.
