Guest guest
As I hope you can all tell -- this email did NOT come from Ted Spencer. Ted and his family have been having problems with a 'stalker' who has shown up at some of the LPA events. This " suspected " stalker is under the State of Washington and FBI surveillance. This email is a hoax! The good news is, it will help with the investigation. Dave Bradford has been notified. Guest guest
Ewwwww, that is definitely freaky. I think everyone as much as they want to, should pray that this freak stalker gets caught and the key is thrown away forever!!!! You often read and hear of these things happening to someone usually not conncected to us, be it by blood or condition, but when it does it pierces to the heart as it could be anyone on here, but for whatever insane reason of his own, he took on Ted and his family. Our hearts and prayers go out to you, Ted and your family too. luv, grady
Guest guest
List, To add on to Matt's reply, this is a person of interest in a stalking case among some of our members. We do have the hotel security videotape from our regional and we can identify him and his vehicle. We have also received word from the City of Puyallup prosecutor's office and the Washington State Patrol that this individual can and will be charged in the State of Washington - Pierce County - with First Degree Assault in that he has made threatening phone calls to our members and appeared at our regional. We have statements from several of our members that have been and will be submitted to the prosecutor's office. We are persuing these avenues and plan to arrest this individual soon. He WILL be going to jail. As Matt has said, Dave Bradford has been contacted. Guest guest
Sorry, but I have never heard of Nodular synovitis and looking it up only came across this http://www.springerlink.com/app/home/contribution asp?wasp=8502403614d4412dbe68661a20242d68 & referrer=parent & backto=issue,6,14 journal,22,50;linkingpublicationresults,1:101569,1 which was no informative at all! I did have arthroscopy for synovitis (among other things) and it was a relatively simple procedure. Joya
Guest guest
Would you be talking about Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis? That is the only type of nodular synovitis I can find. Guest guest
my daughter has just been diagnosed with pa. her legs, feet swell so much she cant walk. she is always is excruiating pain, and calls me crying out loud. it breaks my heart. how can she exercize at all when she can barely move? she tells me its like her bones are breaking. is predizone makes her worse. i dont know what to say to her anymore. she just started seeing an arthitis doctor. she waited so long because of insurance, she didnt have any. will this ever get any better. thanks jane [Editor's Note: Jane, there is no cure for this disease, however, there are many medications that help many of us live lives with meaning and joy. Prednisone is for short term use only and she is probably on it to try to alleviate some of the swelling. Her rheumatologist should be talking to her about medications such as methotrexate, Enbrel, Humira and Remicade. These are the big guns, but in addition to helping to reduce symptoms, they also help slow the progression of the disease. It is therefore critically important that your daughter be placed on one of these medications as soon as possible. Yes, they come with potential side effects, but most of us don't experience any adverse results from taking these medications and, let's face it, the excruciating pain your daughter is now faced with should mean that she is willing to take medications that may help her in a dramatic way. Regarding exercise, many of us find that swimming is a great way to go. YMCAs often have very, very inexpensive aquatic programs available. Hotels with swimming pools may make their pools available to your daughter at little or no cost. Most people in the US can get access to a relatively low cost swimming pool all year round. Now that I've retired, I've started swimming 4-5 times a week and it feels great! Please suggest to your daughter that she consider joining a support group such as this one. We not only understand what she is going through better than anyone else on earth, but we also have the knowledge of 2800 members to share with her.
