Guest guest
My husband is real self conscious about them too. From what the doctor told us is that there is no remedy to get rid of them. The only thing is that women can use a cover-up makeup. By the way, where are you located at? I am in southern calif and haven't been able to find anyone from here yet Tammy
Guest guest
Thank you Tammy! I actually had a woman come up to me at the post office and give me a facial remedy to get rid of the splothes..... She was very nice but it made me so self consious about them. Guest guest
Tammy, It doesn't sound wrong to know that other people are going through those things too. Not at all. That is the good thing about support groups. You feel 'normal' there! When I was dx with my first autoimmune disease 7 years ago, I couldn't find anything relatively close or anyone that also had this. Finally 2 years later, we got a computer and I was able to find a support group on line. It was like I was whole again. It is a great feeling to know you are not alone. Guest guest
Hi Tammy No you can drink whenever you feel hungry or just whenever! I had to sip all day long just to get in the bare minimum! How come all your messages are not on the board but lots of people do get them--is that an IM thing? Keep up the good work--only 1 more week until you'll be able to supplement the clear liquids!!! Guest guest
Tammy, I wish that I could tell you that I'd had a myotomy and doing well, but I can't. I have not had the myotomy. I didn't find this web site until after I had 2 Botox injections and a dilatation. The Botox didn't help me at all. The Botox was given to me because of my age. (I was 70 at the time.) I have since learned that age doesn't really matter if you are in good health. The dilatation lasted 3 and 1/2 years. I had my second dilatation just over 2 years ago and I am still doing well. Sorry I couldn't give you more help. Maggie AlabamaSee what's free at AOL.com.
