Guest guest
Read my last post on the subject, It deals with Gerd and children that are laying down more than normal. Also, I give all patients ear plugs, ( solid to block water) if you wash your child's hair, water can get down the outer ear and cause " Swim ear " So that also could stop his treatments,. Inquire with your doctor and Get some swim ear drops and put a few drops in ( one or two drops) after bathing. Swim ear is over the counter. CHECK with your doctor! The children are usually non verbal, but Pain is real. I don't want to see anyone suffer needlessly, heaven knows they have been through enough already! I think if we could just put our self in the child's position for once, we could see what they go through! I would just take him to the doctor, and ask him for allergy/ sinus meds to take so that you can avoid any pain or discomfort at all. Just a few extra steps could make a world of difference! Please, honor us with a report of how your child does, and his improvements! Remember, the most significant improvements are often seen AFTER the treatment is done. For a new blood supply can give the child the ability to learn, and PT will achieve must greater results. God Bless the children! and the willingness of free standing centers to go beyond the call of duty!!
