The pain clinic doc said to give it a month to work. It didn't and I was miserable. My MIL had it, too, before her hip replacement surgery and it didn't do anything for her. It made me pretty nauseous the first week, so be prepared if that happens. It may very well work for you. If not, get another NSAID right away - and make sure to take it without fail. C.
