Guest guest
What an excellent idea Sherry. I use to go, go, go go all day long. Now I have learned to pace myself. When I'm home and working, I work for about an hour then sit down & rest for 10-15 mins. You're right, I can get so much accomplished and wear my self out. I'm going to try the excercise " cycle " you suggested. Thanks for the tip > > I even use the same technique for exercise, which I've finally slowly > started back on. Guest guest
I agree with this one . If I didn't do my housework and tasks in increments then I would never get anything done because each task would seem insurmontable and then I wouldn't even try to do anything at all . cathy from ma
Guest guest
> >> Get a cheap timer. Set the timer for 15-30 minutes, whatever works best for you. Do tasks that require standing/walking until the timer goes off. Then sit down and do tasks that you can do while seated - or take a 15 minute break and do something fun that you can do while seated. When the timer goes off agan, return to the standing/walking task. Alternate this way throughout the day. You will accomplish more than you ever thought possible, while not overtaxing your feet. > I have a tip on a great timer that works well. Get one of the kitchen timers with a magnet and clip. Mine is an Oster brand, and I purchased it at Target. It's so nice to be able to stick it or clip it anywhere so I don't misplace it (brain fog will do that).
