Hi n,

Like anything, running is a process. I'm still working on my form

as I am doing the Chi Running and it calls for overhauling form.

Moving, in any form...it's all good.

I do eat veggies. I actually eat veggies 3-4 meals. I normally

can't get six meals in, normally just five, so I'm done by 7pm. I do

not eat rice, potatoes, fruit, or any starchy carb after 3pm. I do

have one of my huge salads for dinner and top it with salmon, tuna,

chicken, or the occassional beef steak.

I find that when I do eat starchy carbs after 3pm, I am hungry until

I make myself go to bed. AND...for some reason (I'm sure there's

some scientific explanation) I have a hard time falling asleep if I

eat carbs after 3pm. I tend to be awake being very anxious about

eating again and feeling very hungry. If I take a sleeping pill

(which I don't like to do) to help me sleep, then I wake up ravenous

and groggy, which makes me make poor choices first thing in the

day.

Thank You so much for the response DJ!

I can't believe what you are saying!?!? family and frieds thinking you

wanted to be sick!! that is exactly how i feel!!! it seems that it is

like a " now what does she think she has " attitude! and my mom is a

nurse! it was the same with my pcos, for years i just knew something

was not right! and finally i saw a dr at a womens clinic that

diagnosed me the first visit...i was so relieved to know that there

was a label for what i had

for the past few years i have just notice things becoming harder to

do...opening pop bottles, stirring cookie batter, anything

repetitive...my hands are so much puffier right now that the rings my

hubbie bought me at christmas won't fit anymore...achy,stiff...so achy

in the morning...and sleeping so lightly waking with sore ankles,

hands, etc...that finally i had to go and see the dr a few weeks

ago...i see my gp again next week and she did mention referring me to

see a rhuematologist...she wanted to wait and see the ra blood results

and see how i was feeling after being on the naproxen for a month...

have a lovely evening

blessings
