Id suggest traveling to CT if its for a child--Dr --the best and also one

of the ONLY peds LLMDs

be very careful--there are some new " lyme centers " opening in RI--staffed by

infectious disease drs and NOT the place youll want to go--adult OR kids

good luck!!

of course she would say that--its the IDSA party line

they ignore all the ?scientific evidence and stick to their scripts. shameful.

Im not saying that your daughter absolutely has Lyme BUT it has been found in

breast milk ( they just dont know if that measn it can infect the baby)

and if you had Lyme while pregnan;t that HAS been shown to be able to be passed

to the baby--my own 19 yo got it that way

Id still suggest that you take your baby to a good Dr ( Dr if you can get

in to see him) and get evaluated--not by the anti-Lyme Infectious disease Drs

and not even by the ones that see Lyme everyuwhere--and Dr jones will tell you

if he dont think its Lyme!!!

good luck--its frustrating and confusing to be sure

No, you are not going nuts - they are as they know nothing about lyme!!!!!!!!!

I went to a ENT the other day and he told me my swollen base of tongue and

swollen and red lymph nodes in that area were from maybe my chronic Epstein Barr

virus when asked if it could be due to lyme - well no - then asked if he knew

anything about what happens to a persons body when they get lyme and do not get

treated - he said - oh, really bad things happen to the body - but, could not

tell me what............................... when will they learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't listen to anyone other than the lyme doc - otherwise you will go

nuts.................

bless you!!

I do not know if any tongue things are related - my girls would get sores in the

mouth when not on enzymes - and also all three of my girls tongues are larger -

always have to put the tongue suppressor on them for the doc to see the tonsil

area - so my girls bite tongues allot - I have not heard the larger tongue is

related at all but the sores I have been told are.  Also because we are talking

about it - my girls have very soft teeth - so we have to make sure to get

protections stuff on them (??) our dentist told me that it could in fact be due

to lyme - but then again who knows!!??

Sorry I couldn't of been more of a help....................
