Hello All -- If you are in PA, you need to know -- a group of families have

worked over the last year to have a bill introduced in the PA Senate (SB#1199) -

we all have kids affected by Lyme. This bill was introduced in January and is

now in committee. The first step was to get the committee to act and, we have

been successful -- they have called for a public hearing in burg. This is

HUGE! It looks like the hearing will be in May.

We need all PA folks affected by Lyme to help. Though there was a Lyme bill in

the senate before, there was NO INTEREST OR VOICE from constituents coming in to

the senate. So, we need your voice -- see www.lymeactionpa.com -- this site

has information about the bill and what YOU CAN DO. You can start by emailing

montcolyme@... with your short story (how your kids/family has been

affected, name, city, zip... and you will be added to our list of supporters,

then you can help in gathering signatures for the petition to support the bill

-- especially if you can get medical professional signatures. This bill is

important -- it will go a long way to addressing the issues in LYME. There is a

lot of momentum on this bill right now-- we need to show up in burg at the

public hearing and make it clear that there are many Pennsylvanians affected and

that the current situation is NOT ACCEPTABLE... thank you for making the effort

- this is a crucial time... - Wagner, family of 5 with Lyme, and volunteer

Director of MontCoLyme and LymeAction PA.
