Cheryl-check out the California Ear Institute. There are three offices: Palo Alto, San Ramon and Santa . Here is there website: http://www.californiaearinstitute.com/

Doctor Referral - Bay Area

My 9 year old daughter had a cholesteatoma removed two years ago by Dr. Kay Chang at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. She will require another surgery and I was wondering who people feel is the best surgeon to perform the procedure ~ hopefully for the last time! Thank you in advance for sharing information. I am very grateful to have found this group. Cheryl

Hi,You may also want to contact the prestigious House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles for a referral in your area. Or perhaps it would be worth getting a consult with them even with the long trip involved.Best to your little one.>> My 9 year old daughter had a cholesteatoma removed two years ago by Dr. Kay Chang at > Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. I would also recommend the California Ear Institute. I am currently

being treated by Dr. Roberson at CEI Palo Alto, I had my cholesteatoma

removed back in March, I go back in December to get my follow up. I

have been very very impressed with the treatment I've gotten there.

I've had to see my fair share of ENTs over the course of my life.

Everyone there is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Yes Dr. Roberson is my doctor as well and I can recommend all the doctors in Palo Alto. I had my first surgery last October with the removal of a C-toma, the mastoid bones and replacement of a very perforated eardrum. I was misdiagnosed for 10 years and they knew what was wrong in 10 minutes. I had the follow up on 10 July. Any surgery is performed at the Waverly Clinic nearby and they are very professional.

Whatever you do..... don't stop treatment prematurely! 30 days is

never long enough in the Lyme world, only in the Infectious disease

doctors world and they just decided to agree that Lyme even exists.

Good luck and congratulations for finding it early!

My 11 yr. old daughter was recently diagnosed with Lyme by an Urgent Care doctor

after we noticed the " target rash " . She is on doxycyline and after two days

seems to have turned the corner and is feeling better. Both Dr. and Dr.

Metzger are in our area (lucky for us) and I was wondering who people recommend.

I can't actually get in to see until November but could see the

naturalpath in his office next week. Any recommendations/thoughts?

Thank you so much!
