Dear all,

I have been on oral methotrexate for 6 years and then i had a relapse in

April...maxed out on methotrexate dose and had to start on prednisone... since

then i have been switched to Arava [Leflunamide] with a reducing dosage of metho

and prednisone...

I have the following q's:

1. How long does it take for Arava to act? [my doctor told me at least 4

weeks]

2. Is there any benefit in continuing metho with Arava? [ both have liver

toxicity]

3. What is the success rate of Arava both in short term and long term

response?

Thanks in advance for the responses..

Srikanth
