Guest guest
Hi Patti, I am so glad you shared you information with us. I am very appreciative for your nice comments also. I have loved being a part of it. I have always hoped that the information that I share is of help to someone. If it is just one person, then to me, it is worth it. My situation is a complicated one. My husband works in a field that causes him to not trust people he doesn't know. I totally understand his position and respect it. I am not willing to cause him any distress over a situation that has an easy fix, so to speak. He works with felons who are predatory in nature. He has seen so many cases of the Internet and e-mail being a means that these predatory people are able to hurt innocent unsuspecting people. I can understand his point of view. He is just trying to protect my and the family. That is totally understandable. He does not understand how this list works and that predatory people would be chased right off of it by the wonderful spirit that is so abundant on this list. They simply wouldn't be able to stand it! The warmth and love would cause them to turn and run! I know this list will continue to be a great support for everyone. I think that only a few people feel the need to answer a lot of e-mails. Most people prefer to read and ponder. I am glad that you found the list and that you are finding hope from it. ~Karma Thank you again Dear Group, First of all let me thank Wanda for the beautiful card with such awonderful message. Next I want to express gratitude to you Karma for beingsuch a rock and support to this list. I have appreciated all of your postsand certainly felt motivated to continue plugging along with my LL breathingand trying to get some semblance of healthy eating. I realize that it istime now for you to focus on your family. My prayers will be with you. I am wondering if we have set up an expectation that every post needsto be addressed and therefore some may feel they need to spend too much timeon the list. I love the list and wouldn't want anyone to feel burdened orcause a problem in their home. I can't believe how much time Raschellespends answering everyone's comments. I am afraid she might burn out. Isthere anything we can do to decrease the stress some may feel? Even though I don't post often I really need this list. So many of youhave given great ideas and advice on improving the quality of our lives. Iam really new to the beauty scene. I married young had seven children andjust focused on raising them and getting an education myself. I missedlearning about beauty products and ways of really looking my best. This hasbeen so fun to get the scoop. I worked really hard at getting an education and certification as anurse practitioner then had to retire early because of poor health. Shortlyafter my retirement I was privileged to do hospice nursing for my mother. Then my husband and I did volunteer work for a year and a half to helppeople with employment needs. Well this brings me to now. I have beenpretty tired and still have chronic migraines and fibromyalgia. Throughthis list I have gained hope. I am listening to the Victory Theory and eventhough I have heard much of what Rashelle says she puts the information insuch an appealing and motivating way that I am sure I can get well andaccomplish my dreams. I hope I haven't been too personal. I am sorry this post is so long, Iguess I just needed to make myself known to you since I feel this is such asafe place. With much appreciation, Patti
Guest guest
Dear Hanan, I want to first express my condolence on the passing of your mother. As you mentioned stressful situation tend to make "A" worse. I was thinking about asking my surgeon if he would be interested in inviting the doctor who has "27 years experience" to assist/observe in doing your surgery here in the States. Hospitals often thrive on finding ways to market their specialties. This way you could get possible free treatment. I had my second surgery at a large teaching hospital in Chicago Illinois by a very experienced surgeon who has performed hundreds of lap A surgeries. I look at it this way, if I don't ask it won't happen, but if I ask, you never know. So, let me know if you would want me to proceed in asking? Anyone who reads this, and you feel comfortable asking your surgeon, let's go for it. Sincerely, hanan khimish <hkhimish@...> wrote: hello Thank you all especially Joan, Jan and Biljana for being so caring. I am still suffering from regurigating every night though I have learned from Debbi to fill my E with water before I go to bed every night and wash it from all the food so I can have a good night sleep. Swllowing is still another problem as you know but also I can manage by drinking larg amounts of water when I am home, when I eat out I just eat very little amount that will stay in the E till I go home and wash it down with water. I am not thinking at the mean time of doing any surgical procedure because there is no experienced doctors in Jordan in laproscopic surgeries concerning achalasia, they have experience in GERD and other diseases but not achalasia. I asked a doctor who studied in the U S and he told me that he has 27 years experience as a surgeon he had done other surgeries like GERD but he had never done laproscopic achalasia surgery so I am waiting that may be one day there will be a solution for my problem. I do not think that 70 years ago people would have imagined that human beings can walk on the moon, but it happened so any thing can happen!!! My mother died three weeks ago and it was a very distressful experience and I noticed that swallowing became even more difficult though I am lucky to have a great family, my son went to medicine school this year and that made me very proud and happy, may be I will pressure him to specialize in surgeries in the digestive system!!! You know one of the things that makes me like this board in addition to so many things is that I do not feel as an alien because we all know what we are suffering and what we are talking about while else where every body gives you advices and suggestions that shows that they do not know about this disease. Thank you all again and I am really happy and proud to be in this group which consists of many people in different countries coming together and caring about each other despite differences and distance. Love you all Hanan ( which means compasionate in Arabic) Do you ?Meet the all-new My – Try it today! __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hanan I would like to join Jan in saying how sorry I am about your loss. Mother's are so special and one does miss them so. Please do post a message more often - we love hearing from you and how you are coping with your A. Something you do may be useful to another person. Is your son studying medicine in Jordan ? It is a long hard road but so worthwhile - I wish him well ! Hugs, Joan PS. My name is a derivative of Johanna which means 'the gracious gift of God' - Hanan may also be derived from the same source - I do believe you were well named - 'the compassionate' is beautiful ! J. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am sorry to have to be repeating myself, but you have been so helpful, what else can I do?? Patty, I am glad to hear that you and your son are on the way to wellness (it sounds like) and in good hands. I will try not to panic, as you suggested:) We have learned that the famous Dr. Corson is within short driving distance of us (yippee!) and I hope to make an appointment with her by tomorrow, as soon I can get a phone number for her. What a sigh of relief that is. Finette, congratulations on having your children turn out so SMART! It must be very satisfying to see them graduate with such bright prospects ahead. I hope you feel (or felt) well enough to celebrate through and through. I was sorry to hear that you are still broken down by Lyme's, but I admire your stalwart spirit. And your mothering skills- I hope my kids turns out at least half as well. And, of course, thank you for all your advice. I trust Enzymatic Therapies, so that is where I will probably turn next. I LOVE kefir, it is so yummy. Of course, I drink the stuff that's loaded with sugar (not the plain kefir, but the dessert kind) but I trust it exerts an overall positive effect. I will try that on my son, and keep smoothies in mind. Thank you for reminding me of their existence, I haven't made one in ages. My son- the patient in question- is here crying so I must go. As always I wish you health and happiness. Trish ________________________________________________________________________ Try Juno Platinum for Free! Then, only $9.95/month!
