I am on humira and methotrexate and its been working well for me, I haven't had any bad flares in the last few months. I hope it stays that way. but you guys know how it is, comes and goes not much on the warning signs before it hits. I came down with it during my pregnancy, however, I am now sure that I had it for a much longer time, just recently diagnosed though. Well that's all for now hope you all find relief. Guest guest
Lynn Honey...wishing you the best next week. I just got out of the hospital LAST Monday and today my physical therapist told me that my diagnosis was Trans cerbrel Ischemia(mini stroke essentially). Funny...they did not tell me that in the hospital. Let us know how it goes. Rest up this weekend...you might not get rest there. I'm just now catching up and getting my sleep schedule back on track. lol. I'll be thinking of you. -Betz > > hi audrey my name is lynn and i know what you mean i also have p and pa and also find it gets worse when i get nervous and upset. Guest guest
Hey, Audrey I've been meaning to reply to your post, but I am " Delayed Reaction Woman " (at least that's my super-hero name . I am also new to the group. Your experience sounds very similar to mine. I started having back pain when I was 3 months pregnant (my son is now almost 16 months). My thumb became swollen about 4 months ago (leading to my diagnosis about a month or so ago). I also have been feeling extremely tired for a looooong time. Looking back, I can remember having a bad flare when I was 22 years old (I'm 29 now). I just didn't know what it was or that other people didn't feel the same way that I was feeling (I thought that I kept injuring myself and that I was depressed). Even though I hate being a member of the PA crew, I am relieved to know what is happening to my body. Suddenly, so much about my life makes sense. Unfortunately for me, I still am in the process of trying to get health insurance, so I'm living off of ibuprofen. I was diagnosed at a hospital after-hours clinic (based on symptoms), so now I am terrified about the whole " pre-existing condition " thing and whether or not to volunteer that information. You can always email me off the list, if you want to talk more.
