Guest guest
Hi and a Big Thank You for persisting and opening my eyes. Just letting you know that I have stopped being silly and in denial that the MTX is not going to work with me. I did my research again and wrote it down this time (i tend to forget everything by the next day) and realised that the MTX is taking time in building up in my body and that the side affects take awhile to show and could just build and may get worse each time. I really wanted it to work and have been upset that I can't have it. I realised I would be too frightened to take it anyway on Friday as I am home alone that night and day, so no-one around in case things get bad. My PCP is away who prescribed it, but I thought i would be cheeky and ring the rhuemys office anyway. Obviously I got told to stop it straight away. So I have to be strong for another month and I see the Rhuemy on 7th Feb. I am going to ask if the injections would be the same. I think it is more the lung side of things that is concerning. I have been chesty and flemmy but I have put that down to me smoking more lately, sometimes I can be really stupid. Janice Zip a de do dah zip a de day, my oh my what a wonderful day.. > > well you might want to mention it to your doctor because methotrexate can > cause scarring on your lungs and lung damage. cathy from ma > > >
