Guest guest
Something else that I have learned here is to take the MTX at night, so that you " hopefully " sleep through symptoms. I know I can't sleep through nausea. Does the Benadryl not make everyone dozy? [Editor's Note: It does make me a bit dozy and that is another excellent reason to take MTX at night. When I was still able to work, I took MTX on a Friday night so that I could nap if I needed to over the weekend. Kathy F.] [ ] Re: Newly Diagnosed 30 Year Old - New To Group Hi I am also on MTX I am trying it for the second time. It makes me very sick I have been reading here a lot lately about taking benadryl with it, well I tried it I could not believe the difference I did not spend the next two days feeling like I had the stomach flu. I took one 25 mg pill at the same time as my MTX you may need more I think the normal dose may be 50 mg but I am only taking 5 mg of MTX right now because of the bad reaction I had last time I am trying to get used to it with the hope of increasing the dose give it a try maybe it will work as good for you. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon LINDA
