Guest guest
Hi all, I've been lurking much lately, so busy and then soooo tired that I haven't been posting too much lately, but my husband and I are thinking about searching out a " out patient clinic " that is really on the forefront or at least patient friendly (my need) and in doing research on line ~ I've found Hopkins and Mayo (in MN) consistently rated top notch ~ and Hopkins doing more on research. Stanford is closer to where I live part of the year (Carmel, CA) and has been rated strongly as well ~ so it is a tough choice. Last year I contacted Mayo and they were not taking new patients in Rheumatology due to retirements, etc, so I'm at a loss... I am extremely grateful for all the medications out there to help us, but at the same time, really looking to see if there is anything I can do to NOT be on such hardcore drugs. Obviously if they are the only choice, I am going to take them as constant pain and immobility is impossible, but.... Does any one have any experience with Hopkins, Mayo in MN or Stanford Medical Clinic (for treatment of PsA and more so, for the determination of other immune disorders)? Thanks!!
