Guest guest
Judy: It was really by accident. In attempting to search through genealogical records at the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City, I ran in to a road block in trying to figure out where and when my ancestors entered the country. I searched high and low and thought I was just out of luck in that somehow they entered the country from Europe and the records were either not maintained or just lost. When I consulted with the specialists at the Mormon's record library, they confirmed that the family name I was tracing was native to this country only, it did not exist in any other country but the U.S. This was further confirmed by the people who are researching CMT and looking at my information. Hope this helps........ Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for writing and helping me get back on the list. I have no idea how I was removed, but, I am glad to be back. I have been a part of the list-serv for almost 2 years. It has been invaluable to me. I owe everything to the list-serv and the many people who are a part of it. has come a long way since I suspected Apraxia. Because of the list-serv, we have helped to educate 's speech therapist more about Apraxia. She is a wonderful teacher and has been open to anything. We are doing our own independent study with ProEFA and my two kids along with her. made a went from 65% intelligible to 85% intelligible in 2 1/2 months. She was amazed and talked with all of her collegues. None of them had even heard of ProEFA. She is convinced, but disappointed because she cannot really tell other parents about it without it sounding like she is giving a prescription. Thank you so much for reposting the information about Carnosine for me. Congratulations on Tanner's success with it. That is so exciting and makes me feel hopeful as well. Thank you for all that you do for Apraxia and for this list-serv. It has been our life saver. Sincerely, mother to Mother to 4.10 (severe apraxia) and Kaylee 2.6 (possible apraxia) wrote: > >
Guest guest
Hi Chuck, I beg to differ with your information about having to choose 'reply to all'. This email groups " Reply " emails go to the entire group unless you delete the achalasia address and paste in the persons address you want to sent it to. I am used to email groups for my genealogy research so understand the options you mentioned and have experienced each type, but this group must have the reply option to go to the entire group. Also, I could be wrong and hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this group has an active list owner. LIST OWNER, ARE YOU OUT THERE???????? In other words, unless you change the " " field to the list address, the reply will just go to the person who wrote the post you're replying to. Perhaps a good idea? Guest guest
> Hi Chuck, HI all... I reply individually to authors of posts all the time....just click on the blue highlighted name of the author in a post you want to send an individual reply to. This is found right under the heading for the post in the body of the email. I think it's great to do this. It is easy to start building relationships this way. More personal, and there are so many interesting people in this group! You never really get to know much about them (other than the common factor of achalasia) unless if you do this. If we're ever going to have that " Achalasians Cruise " to Alaska or the Bahamas or wherever, we will have more fun if we know each other more before we get on board! WOuldn't that be a hoot? I'd love to see a dining room full of us. A waiter's dream come true! Let's see...6 gallons of seltzer on table 3, 4 gallons of milk and some cola syrup on table 6....We could share our favorite burping tips in the talent show. We would really have fun, wouldn't we? My point really, though, is that it's nice to get to know more about folks in this room than just our A. in Houston> > I beg to differ with your information about having to choose 'reply to > all'. People have gotten up out of wheelchairs. My problems were partly due to deadly bacteria growing under dentalwork, and people should research that. For six months a serious detox regimen should be done. As much green juicing as possible, cilantro in capsules to draw mercury out of the brain and central nervous system, then alpha-lipoic acid and l-glutathione and n-acetyl-cysteine and C and B and minerals and trace minerals to bind and carry the mercury out, and milk thistle to protect the liver. Lots of water. Fiber shakes to speed up transport and minimize reabsorption. -Bob
