Hi , my friend is in the same position as you are. He owns a

furniture repair store and he is also trying to find out how to get on

disability

because he cannot work with the pain. If you would like to write to him,

email me, maybe you both can help each other since you are looking to do the

same things. I know that he would like to find others who are in the same

situation as he is so he has someone who understands.

sole provider for my family, i cant really afford expensive meds, I

have lost almost complete range of motion in my right elbow, I assume

its a bone spure in the joint, I have a great doc who works with me on

things dont change quickly its looks as if i am going to have to file

bankrupcy, which is a last resort for me , i have had a auto

detail/custom shop for the past 12 years when i got sick i lost my

business, so if anyone can help me with some advice PLEASE help me

Hi ,

The only way I am managing with my pain is by taking co codamol

30/500 and morphine 10mg (slow release) the later when pain is real

bad. To be honest neither takes it away all together but they do

take the edge off as they say. I also have lots of HOT baths, this

is the best relief for me and also my trusted heat pad (I am like a

baby with a snuggle blanket, it goes everywhere with me lol). I have

also found relief in meditation. So with all this combined I can

just about 'manage it'. This probably ain't much help to you right

now, but just wanted to let you know how 'I try' to manage my pain.

Everyone has different pain levels, mine must be so low. Everyone

finds their own way of managing the pain somehow and I guess its

trial and error like the meds.

Gentle hugs
