Guest guest
I know that everyone will immediately write in and admonish me for even thinking about ironing, muchless, actually continuing to do it, but here goes! I would like to know if anyone has found a lightweight iron that is not impossible to use. I refuse to give up well pressed looking shirts, etc. and also refuse to pay the outrageous prices charged at our local dry cleaners. I realize that in larger areas you can get a shirt done for under a dollar, but not so where I live!! Ironing is very difficult and down right painful, so any iron buying tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. in Poulsbo, Wa.
Guest guest
We use a Rowenta " steam generator " iron -- think of an iron attached by a hose to an off-board boiler tank. I think the hand unit is a little lighter than a traditional iron and the steam is hotter. ===================================================== Stein http://www.noblefusion.com/astein http://www.livejournal.com/users/astein142/ http://darkart42.deviantart.com/ ----------------------------------------------------- " Do or do not.
