Guest guest
The info below was posted on another lyme message board- Rich R (skiweasel7) ---------- FYI from Sheila: I am sharing the following post from Kay Lyon regarding transportation to the next session of Dr. ' hearing (November 16, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Hartford). For folks within MA or nearby, it's an invitation to utilize the bus that she has reserved. For folks from other states, it suggests one way that you might want to organize transportation and maximize attendance from your area. Matching donations, anyone? In the aftermath of the recent IDSA debacle, we have an opportunity for constructive action. Attendance at Dr. ' hearing says that we intend to preserve access to comprehensive medical care and the truth about Lyme disease. Thanks for your consideration. Kay's post is as follows: I have VERY good news! Please share! We have been substantially funded for a bus to Dr. ' next hearing on November 16! Two generous donors, the Statlender/Donnelly family from Massachusetts and Marjorie Roswell from land, have made it possible, with their generosity, for me to reserve a bus! I will ask for donations to help defray the cost. A donation is NOT necessary, but very appreciated! Not everyone will be able to donate and that is fine. Please do not miss the bus because of financial reasons. You don't want to miss the next hearing! Dr. Fallon and Dr. Nick are scheduled to testify. The bus rides are always a great time to network and get and give support as well. The bus will leave from the Northshore Shopping Center at the intersection of rtes. 114 & 128 at 5:30 am SHARP! We can make 3 stops on the way. We will travel down 128/95 to the Mass Pike then take 84 into Hartford. We can make any 2 or 3 stops that are best for the majority of travelers. I am tentatively thinking of: 1. Burlington Mall 2. Marriott Newton 3. Auburn, Mass Pike park & ride. Please let me know if you would like a seat on the bus, there are only 47, and also where you would like to be picked up, one of the 3 stops above or feel free to suggest/ request a different stop. Please send name, cell number and preferred pick up location to: b10g7@... Thanks! Kay www.lymesite.com www.photolyon.com Sheila M.
