Guest guest Posted September 22, 2008 Report Share Posted September 22, 2008 I've never gotten much relief from cortisone shots in any joint; however, I've been told when I got them that it would take a few days for it to work. Guest guest Posted September 25, 2008 Report Share Posted September 25, 2008 Hi , Sometimes it can take 48 hours to feel any kind of relief from the shot..Hope you feel better soon..Ice is good..I have found alternating ice and heat helps me better than just one or the other..
