Guest guest
The physical scars have healed from my fall but the mental ones still remain, I am a little concerned to go anywhere on my own. Had a bit of an eye problem of late. Old red eye, it goes away if I don't rub it. I am having quite serious thoughts about Enbrel and of any of the TNF blockers really. I know that a lot of people here are having good results using them, but still having a lot of the fatigue symptoms. My Rheumy says that the inflammation causes the fatigue, so if the Enbrel blocks the production of TNF that causes the inflammation then why doesn't the fatigue subside. I suppose that most of the meds we use are not specifically designed for PsA be for other types of arthritis and then experimented with to see if they will work for PsA. The other concern is the side effects as listed on the Enbrel web site and with people suggesting it only last for upto 2 years before you need to try something else. I don't think I am ready to try it yet. Anyway on a good note I am going to a rock concert on Easter Saturday (flare up permitting), with a chaperon of course who hasn't got a clue what they are letting themself into.LOL Although I may need to buy soon spoons, or borrow some, anyone got some spares? I'm going to see Bob Catley in Sheffield, ironically, the support band is called Lost Weekend, and if I use too many spoons it probably will be. I will probably get over it by the following Saturday. Thanks Brent, the candida yeast sounds interesting. There are a lot of my symptoms that are listed there that aren't listed elsewhere. It may be worth looking further into for me. But assured I will with extreme caution. Haven't really got much to say. Keep the light shining, Ian.
