psoriasis sores

Well, good question!! I recently went through that myself. I would get

occasional scaly patches on my ribcage area that would go away on their own. It

was only important to help diagnose my arthritis pain. The dermatologist i went

to told me there was no way to know by looking at them...and even biopsies don't

give you a clear idea. I insisted she biopsy it anyway.. and it came back as

psoriasis. So I guess sometimes they can tell and some times they can't. I think

it would be different if you had a LOT of lesions, but I did not.

good luck! Becca

I have quite a few and they have been biopsied but I think doctor has to give

some guidance to lab as to what to look for, what he thinks it is, so I could

ask him to do another one of different area. So far just non healing sores,

I've had a long time. Thanks
