PsA pain, symptoms etc......

What said.... is so NORMAL in our world. <grins>

I too have a LOT of problelms with my feet lately. ANkles too. Some of it

is due to PAINFUL TIGHT HARD skin. NOTHING I USE works enough to give me

100% relief and softness. I use a lot of AVON products and gosh, I gotta

tell you this....the Skin So Soft line and Foot Works for feet has done

WONDERS for me. Then the AVON Solutions system for face (dry skin formula).

I had no idea how dry and replemished my skin was. Add on Humira. I am 98%

clear!. THe only P I have is on back of my legs (small spots) and of course

my poor poor feet. Even my hands are clearing up. Humira and AVON has been a

godsend. It feels SO DARNED GOOD TO LOOK GOOD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT, the downside? Humira does not help me as much with the PsA that Enbrel

did. Argh. See my Rheumy (thank GOD was able to get a FAST appt) June 19th.

A LOT of ankle sweelling these days. Foot swelling. Foot PAIN, in heels,

ankles, top parts of feet, toes, etc. All over body pain (FMS flare?), etc.

Some days I can barely walk at all. Doc put me on duretics (NOT my regular

doctor etither!) I don't think that is the problem, cuz I am not seeming to

lose any weight--I suspect it is a PsA flare in my feet/ankles. Looks like I

need a NSAID or a cox2 to go with all of this. ARGH I am on too many meds as

it is-I dont NEED to have to deal with MORE, but if I must, I must. I have

too many health issues to try to brave it all on NO meds. Plus, I feel, if

Rheumy can prove it is PsA, and NOT Fluid retention, that will help too. :)

All we can do really is learn to become " flexible " people. If working is too

much for you, don't try to force yourself. Go down to part-time, or if it is

your cup of tea, even try working from home. You just gotta find what works

for YOU. If you are in a high level managemt position, just try stepping

down to something not as difficult or demanding. And so on. We really have

to put a lot of balance and flexibility into our lives, or we would never be

able to survive the pain, depression, and oh so much more that we go through

with this DD (dear disease).

LeAnn, have you tried Kerasal? It's available without prescription

and contains salicylic acid which soften and dissolves hard skin. You

might check with your Dr. first, especially if you have open sores. I

find the ointment version works better than the cream.

Hi,

I sell Avon, and they do have some nice products. I don't see much due to not

being able to get around, but just a couple orders each time. I have enough

trouble getting those to the customers, lol

take care

If you like AVON, try the Planet Spa African Shea butter foot and

ankle cream- I can't live without it. It makes my feet feel alot

better. I am master of moisturizers and this seems to keep

everything under control for psoriasis.
