Hi Bert,Harper, Galye and everyone else.I have been busy trying to keep

up with all your news. Harper I love to hear about all your traveling It

sounds great fun just the sort of thing I enjoy doing.I really love to

travelif I ever won the lottery I would first come and meet all my new

friends then go to all the places I have always dreamed off.

First of all let me apologise for any spelling mistakes I have just

had to take some Morphin that the Dr gave me and it makes me light headed

it doesn't take much to do that LOL .My pneumonia has been quite bad these

last few days and my legs are so painful now I have got some feeling back

after the stroke but the Dr cant tell me if this is as good as it gets

or not I am just very impatient. I had to go to the stroke centre at the

hospital last week and saw a Dr Ihad not meet before she had already made

her opinion of my before I got in the room she new nothing about AIH and

asked me several times if I was contagious . She said from the start that

I didn't need a wheelchair and to manage on my sticks, my husband

( who is great but can't let him no that) told her I dont use the chair

every day only when we go out for quite a while. She also said that I hadn't

had a stroke and was told very sharply by Cris that the besa neuro surgen

in the country had said different and we would rather go by what he says

we left very quikly. To cut a long story short LOL I saw my own GP who

is great he said there is no way I can do without the chair and that I

need more help not less so he is writing to her also to tell her for reference

that AIH is very rare but not contagious. As you can probably guess I have

done quite a lot of crying the last week but feel better now I don't no

what I would do without all of you there arnt words to express how I feel

about eveyone in this group you are all very special people.

Bert you asked were I lived it's about 100 miles from London called

Cheltenham it's a old place mostly Regency buildings and very pretty And

I am about10 minites from the hills that surround us so plenty of country

side We are also very close to the lovely Cotswolds. Cheltenham is nown

as the heart of the Cotswolds and we are also about 30 miles from Stratford-On-Avon

where Shakesbure was born so lots of history. Well now I have bored you

all ridgid thanks for letting me prattle on so much. Lots of HUGS

Hello Jeanette,

So sorry to hear you have had a mini stroke. Hope you are feeling better and this will not be too much of a setback in your recovery. Spring is upon us and perhaps the fresh air and sunshine will brighten your days.

Please keep us informed of how you are doing....

Dear All

I am sending this on behalf of Jeanette, due to the fact that she has had another stroke. It happened on Tuesday last and she was taken into hospital. She is doing well but her speech is a bit slow and she has lost the use of her left arm and leg. Jeanette is having physiotherapy and managed to stand-up today. So it is back to square one, but I know with all your support she will do well. Jeanette sends all her love to you all and hopes to be in touch soon.

(Jeanette U K husband)

please give Jeanette my best wishes. She's a brave and resilient woman, and I feel honored to know her.

Hi Jeanette....

I saw your post on Sun letting us know how fridays pain shot went .....you never mentioned whether he actually gave it to you.....

you told us about you lab results...which you said were not good and the doctor upped meds and was keeping a close eye on you...and mentioned about if things got worse you would have to go back to the hosp....

Well I hope that I will see another post from you and not Chris....not that we don't like hearing from Chris...but if it is from you that means you are still home...so that would be good ....make that great news....

Hope you are feeling better...and that you are home....

take care and talk soon

Jeanette,

I cannot find adequate words to express my sympathy. I wish,

dear friend, that I could relieve your suffering, but I know that is

impossible. May the memory of this tragedy soon give way to all

the good memories of your twin that you have stored up, and

may the goodness of your sister be multiplied in the lives of

those she has left behind.

Even though I cannot comprehend the depth of your sorrow,

please know that my prayers are with you and your family and

that you have my deepest sympathy.

Christ's love and comfort to you,

(in Wyoming)

Dear Jeanette,

I know nothing can ease your pain right now but know that you are loved from around the world. In some ways I'm sure it's like losing a part of who you are because of being identical twins - the magic of twins is something awesome at times but the pain of loss is great always.

Suicide is often the result of illness. I've read that people often say that someone dies by suicide such as death from another illness rather that saying they committed suicide. From 's description of her personal experience, I still feel this is so true.

No matter what the circumstances, the shock and loss is unimaginable. I have lost family members in both ways so feel free to e-mail me if you need a shoulder or a whole life of experiences to lean on.

Hang in there, Jeanette and try to take care of yourself or get someone around who will look out for you. You are important to us.

With love,

Amy

I am sending you my heartfelt sympathy and hope that you will find a way to

pick up and go on with your life. I lost a brother at 18, and it's hard very hard,

you ask yourself why did God let this happen? Please let me know how things progress as we care about you Jeanette and we need you to take care of you.

Many warm hug's, H.

Folks who remember Jeanette in England: I saw a post from her on another site. It must be she; there can't be two Jeanettes with AIH posting from England. I wrote, but have heard nothing back. In the original post, she sounds very well, very much on top of things. I'd been worried about her, as she was quite ill when she last wrote our group. You probably remember that Tony tracked down her address in England and sent her a teddy bear when she was having a particularly bad time. Tony was having a bad time, too, but he managed that very difficult undertaking. Typical Tony! She seems to have made a good recovery from her strokes. It's wonderful having such good news.
