Guest guest
Tuesday I am scheduled to have my second injection. (Me showing the nurse that I CAN do this on my own.) However, the other day when I glanced at my Enbrel in the fridge, I noticed it said 50mg TWICE a week. I freaked out a bit thinking that I need to get in there like that night! I called the office and left a message with the exchange to see if my neighbor who is an RN can give me the shot since she knows in the ins and outs. The next day the nurse called me at work wondering why I cancelled my appt and didn't want to take Enbrel any longer. (!!!???!!!) I explained what my message really was and to KEEP my appt... and she said that 50 mg is one week... which means that I have 2 months worth in the fridge instead of 1. I remember the doc telling me that he was going to try for 2 times a week, " but the insurance companies don't like that much. " So now I really don't know, but will find out on Tuesday, I guess. I know some of you take it twice a week... does anyone take 50mg twice a week? Is that a normal " jump start? " Or is the labeling wrong?? Curious of your thoughts, Jody __________________________________________________
