Guest guest
HI My son has had consistently low levels for vitamin D and zinc. We did an RBC for the zinc a year ago and even though we supplement it twice a day, its at about the same levels now, very low. Same with vitamin D. We live in the northeast so I can sort of understand the D issue but have been giving 500 iu ( was 1000 iu in winter ) He is 3 and 32 lbs. He has been on all the recommended chelation supplements andeats great. We own a shellfish grant and I know oysters are high in zinc. Are they safe? I am nervous about mercury content in them. Any suggestions or advice appreciated. Just want to get these levels up without overdoing the supplements. I do give the zinc at bedtime on an empty stomache and first thing in the morning. Thanks
