DAN wants to try td-ldn (cross post)

We had a consult with my son's DAN the other day, and one thing they want to try

is td-ldn. For some reason, I am very nervous about this treatment. I was

hoping to get some feedback from others who have used it. Any information would

be great, but I am most concerned about if it can cause long-term regression or

mess up your immune system if you start it, have a bad or no reaction, and then

stop it.

For some background info., my son does seem to get sick a normal amount but the

illnesses can sometimes linger (especially colds/coughs) and he does tend to

regress after illness (attention, behavior). He did test as having some

autoantibodies, including the Anne Connolly test. He has very high rubella

titers.

I am just feeling scared to try it and mess him up more or to not try it and not

help him. I hate this.
