Guest guest
Andy or others - My question is about a 2 yr old and his zinc levels -- he has a huge discrepancy between hair and serum levels. He did not meet the counting rules for deranged minerals. Do we use different rules on young children (2 yr olds)?? Hair zinc is at 52 - low red zone - range is 100-190 Serum zinc is at 407 High - range from 70-150. Summary of toxic elements results: Lead at 1.1, mercury at .13. Yellow zone for 9 other toxic elements. Total toxic - in red zone. I have not found any information to guide me regarding high serum zinc and low hair zinc. The numbers are both extreme on both ends. Maybe I need to run a RBC mineral test? I would appreciate any insights.
