Guest guest
Hi Listmates, My son has been on Diflucan (50mg /day) for the past 8 days. The anal red ring (which he has always had) disappeared completely on the 3 day of being on the Diflucan, but for the last 2 days, I notice the anal red ring has returned, and seemed to be getting more red by the day. Does that mean I need to up his Diflucan dosage? Is the return of the red ring a sign that the yeast is flaring up and the Diflucan being unable to control it? He has at least 1 BM everyday. His BM for the first 2-3 days whilst on Diflucan had a lot of dead yeast (and longer ones too) but for the last few days, I think he is excreting less yeast, and the yeast fibres are much shorter and more fine. On a behaviour level, he seems to be a bit more calm for the past 2 days and less emotional though he looks tired. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much Regards,
